The luxury style

Real luxury on safari is time, space and a guide who knows when to wait.

Our luxury safaris use lodges and camps we would happily stay in ourselves: excellent food, generous rooms, views that earn their place, and staff who remember how you take your coffee. But the lodge is the backdrop. What makes the journey is the guide, the timing and the freedom to stay longer when something is about to happen.

You travel in a private 4×4 with a senior guide from the moment you land at Kilimanjaro to the moment you leave. Game drives start when you want them to, and a day is held in reserve so a good sighting never has to be abandoned for a schedule.

What is included in the style

Luxury, the Wildblick way

01

Private vehicle, always

A dedicated 4×4 with a pop-up roof, charging points, binoculars and a cool box. Nobody else's plans, nobody else's pace.

02

Senior guides

Guides with years on the northern circuit, chosen for patience and judgement as much as for knowledge.

03

Hand-picked camps

Lodges and permanent tented camps chosen for their location first — close to the game, away from the crowds.

04

Crater floor at first light

We descend into Ngorongoro as the gates open, before the day vehicles arrive.

05

Bush meals

Breakfasts and sundowners out in the parks, set up where the morning's drive ends.

06

One planner

A single point of contact in Arusha, from your first call to your last transfer.

Sample itinerary

Eight days in the north

A starting shape, not a fixed route. We adjust the parks, the order and the camps to the season and to what you want most to see.

Day01

Arrival in Arusha

Met at Kilimanjaro International Airport and driven to a quiet coffee-farm lodge on the edge of Arusha. A slow evening and a briefing with your guide.

Arusha · coffee-farm lodge
Day02–03

Tarangire

Elephant country under ancient baobabs. Two full days along the Tarangire River, with a walking safari on the edge of the park if you would like one.

Tarangire · tented camp
Day04

Ngorongoro Crater

Down to the crater floor as the gates open — black rhino, lion and flamingo on the soda lake — then back up to the rim for a long lunch and a slow afternoon.

Ngorongoro · crater-rim lodge
Day05–07

Central Serengeti

Three days on the endless plains of the Seronera valley, the most reliable big-cat country in Africa. The reserve day lives here.

Serengeti · luxury tented camp
Day08

A final morning drive, then a light-aircraft flight back to Arusha to connect with your international departure.

Questions

Before you ask

What is the difference between luxury and high end?

Luxury uses the best lodges and camps inside the national parks. High end moves you into private concessions and exclusive-use houses, adds light-aircraft transfers between regions, and means you rarely see another vehicle. See High End Safaris.

Can children join a luxury safari?

Yes. Many camps welcome families and some offer family tents. A few have minimum ages for walking or canoeing activities — we will match camps to your children's ages.

Is it possible to fly between parks instead of driving?

Yes. Light-aircraft hops link Arusha, Tarangire, Manyara and several Serengeti airstrips. We often combine driving through the scenic stretches with flying on the long transfers.
